Cool idea… Never made General Tso’s myself. So I’m wondering how difficult the cooking is?
Terri – The General Tso’s chicken recipe involves shallow-frying, which is frying the chicken in about an inch of oil as opposed to deep-frying. The method results in less oily but still crispy chicken. After that, making the sauce and coating the chicken is pretty easy. It’s a little more challenging than some of the other Grubkits, but if you’re interested in learning how to get crispy, better-than-takeout quality chicken at home, this is the kit to learn with!
