I am hoping you will have a red bean paste or vegetable steamed buns posted eventually.
How about some kind of miso soup? Preferably one that doesn’t rely on things like mushroom or much fish? (But that could be added if desired, I suppose! I’m just allergic.) Right now, I just kind of toss things together and cross my fingers!

Wow! This site is a gold mine! I am a single dad and I seem to cook the same 4-5 dishes all the time. I don’t have a lot of recipes and my kids get tired of eating the same things all the time.
